To celebrate the release of The Running Man, we integrated the movie's high stakes, action and key themes into our social-first video franchises: GOAL’s Front Three (UK), Holding Six (Germany) and 1vs1 (Italy).
With a custom set, movie-themed costumes and branded challenges for the team to face - all while testing their football knowledge - we integrated the movie into the football conversation via these fun, action-packed and engaging social videos.
This sponsored content was coupled with a series of LED perimeter board activations at some of the biggest matches across EMEA and LATAM, featuring Barcelona, PSG, AC Milan, Nottingham Forest, Bayer Leverkusen and the Brazilian National team - all activated to coincide with local release dates.
Merging social-first content with in-stadium/live broadcast activations enabled The Running Man to harness the power of football across multiple touchpoints and engage football fans around the world at scale.
