About the role

12 month Fixed Term Contract with the view to be extended.

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract in the Operations team whilst a member of the team is on maternity leave with a view to extend the role further. The role will initially involve supporting Content teams whilst they focus on delivery during the busy period leading up to and during the Euros, but may also require tasks to be completed to support the wider business.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a knack for multitasking and a passion for operational efficiency. As the Operations Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our day-to-day operations, with a particular focus on handling purchase orders (POs), onboarding and managing relationships with suppliers and freelancers, plus providing support in finance and operational administration.

Most importantly we are looking for someone who will integrate well with the team and is willing to get stuck in.

 

What you'll be doing
  • Onboarding suppliers and raising Purchase Orders where required for the Content division

  • Be a champion of Footballco’s Project/Task Management tool, ClickUp. Be prepared to support teams to improve and streamline any workflows and work with 3rd party to understand any changes in the tool

  • Supporting contracting enterprise or multi-division tools and systems, understanding any terms and requirements plus working with legal and finance teams and 3rd parties, to get to sign off.

  • Working with legal team to create any new and bespoke agreements that may be needed

  • Supporting with recontracting process and ensuring that processes around this are understood and followed

  • Handle various administrative tasks related to finance and operations

  • Maintain organised records and documentation where required

WHAT YOU HAVE
  • Previous experience in a similar operational management role.

  • Experience in devising and implementing policies/processes in a similar business

  • Has experience as an operations or project manager, or in business admin

  • A supportive, confident and proactive approach to work

  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and workload

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Experience of dealing with colleagues and clients at all levels, including Senior Management

  • An interest or knowledge of football is not a prerequisite to this role
