Sport Business Points to Footballco Revenue Diversification and US Investment as Key to Recent Growth

In a post-World Cup feature, Sport Business’ Martin Ross examined Footballco’s recent financial reports to show how the company has performed over the past 12 months, focusing on revenue diversification, US investment, and growth in campaigns and branded content.

Footballco CEO, Juan Delgado is quoted as saying that there was ‘no escaping that having a men’s World Cup in the world’s biggest media and advertising market was a massive opportunity”. And that over the past 12 months, the company’s revenues have exceeded $100m with a positive Ebitda margin of around 10%. With Delgado adding, the “number and size of the global deals we’ve brought into the company and our investment in the US arm of the business, which now accounts for more than 20% of overall revenue”.
