Footballco expands creative offering in the Middle East by appointing Eoin Cronolly as Creative Director

Football media and culture company Footballco has appointed Eoin Cronolly as Creative Director for the Middle East. Having previously worked for BigTime Creative Shop, Cronolly will lead Footballco’s Riyadh-based regional creative team, overseeing client campaigns across Footballco’s portfolio, including GOAL, Kooora, INDIVISA, and Yalla GOAL.

In his new role, Cronolly reports to UK-based Executive Creative Director Peter Liffen and will collaborate closely with Andy Jackson, Senior Vice President for the Middle East.

Named one of Campaign’s Creative Faces to Watch in 2026, Cronolly brings an award-winning track record to the company, having delivered high-profile work for Nike, Rexona, Riyadh Season, and both global and local market work for PepsiCo. He has also been recognised at international awards shows like Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clios, LIA and Dubai Lynx, and has served on international juries for festivals including the Loeries.

Jackson said: “Eoin brings a rare blend of creative craft and genuine football culture. As football in the Kingdom and wider region continues its unprecedented transformation, brands are demanding deeper, culturally resonant storytelling. Eoin’s arrival reinforces our commitment to building a world class creative team in Riyadh.”

Cronolly added: “Football’s rapid growth in the region, combined with Footballco’s market-leading position in football, makes this an incredibly exciting time to join the company. I’m looking forward to working with Andy and the team, as well as partnering with brands that recognise the role football plays in culture in Saudi Arabia and beyond.”
