As we kick off 2025, here’s a wrap-up of some of the biggest stories being reported about Footballco and our brands being covered across the world.
Footballco CEO, Juan Delgado, joined Leaders Editorial Director, James Emmett, and Content Director, David Cushnan, on the Leaders Worth Knowing Podcast. Juan was on the show to discuss Footballco’s approach to the ever-changing football media landscape, changing consumption habits and how a modern football media company monetises content.
Juan had time to reflect on his career in sports media and on what the future holds, including hyper-personalisation and the opportunities and challenges AI presents.
Elsewhere, we announced the extension of our content partnership with the Bundesliga, which includes a focus on growing awareness in the Middle East and the release of a three-part docu-series – titled ‘The Era of Arabs’ – produced by Footballco on the history of Arab players in the Bundesliga.
