What’s the role about?
The Senior Research Executive will work closely with the Head of Research to develop and deliver international research studies to support Footballco’s Commercial, Strategy, Editorial and Product / UX teams across the brand portfolio. You will work on primary research projects of the highest quality, through all phases of development, execution and reporting and utilise a range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies. You will also be responsible for providing insights based on third party research powered tools (e.g. GWI). This role will suit someone who is currently working as a Senior Research Executive or a Research Executive who is ready to take their next step.
What You'll be doing?
Work with the Head of Research to develop and execute an international research programme to provide a deep understanding of our audiences, brands and categories
Supporting the delivery of primary research projects in the form of surveys - including audience profiling, segmentation, trend research, U&A studies, concept testing and campaign effectiveness - focus groups and user interviews
Involvement at all stages of the research process and opportunities to take ownership for projects and manage internal stakeholders
Becoming a ‘go to’ person for insight requests within the organisation. To respond using primary research and third party tools such as GWI
Supporting the development and running of our research community
Collaborating on projects with other members of the Footballco Insight & Growth Team (e.g. Analytics, Data Science, SEO)
What you have?
Experience working at a research agency with foundational knowledge of a range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies
Comfortable analysing research data and able to distil it into actionable insights (use of analytical tools e.g. Q, SPSS, Excel, Google Sheets is advantageous)
Previous experience of GWI and commercial research would be highly advantageous but not essential
Experience of using survey programming tools also desired
A curious and enquiring mind as well as a willingness to learn and progress
Proactive, organised and strong attention to detail
A commercial mindset to shape prioritisation and decision making
