What’s the role about?

In this pivotal role, you will serve as the Programmatic Sales Lead across Footballco’s portfolio of products and websites. We are looking for a proactive, creative, and entrepreneurial individual to nurture relationships and identify programmatic and audience data opportunities among premium brands and agencies. Your responsibilities will encompass building Programmatic revenue, primarily focusing on PG, and fostering relationships with high-level contacts across the industry. A deep understanding of Programmatic advertising across display, video and app and agency trading desks' organisational structure is imperative. Key responsibilities include developing the go-to-market strategy, driving new and existing relationships, creating compelling sales materials, and championing our programmatic offerings in the marketplace.

A strong track record of exceeding programmatic sales targets and extensive client relationships across both Programmatic Agency and Independent Trading Desks and In-house Programmatic Sales Teams are essential. A profound understanding of the programmatic marketplace, along with expertise in sell-side business development and media sales, is crucial. Familiarity with DSPs, DMPs, measurement vendors, and data providers is also required.

What You'll be doing?
  • Develop and execute Agency focused sales for the UK and Europe to deliver revenue targets and exceed client expectations.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with major Agency Holding groups and trading desks to secure ad partnerships and drive revenue growth.

  • Develop sales strategies and sales plans for the programmatic ecosystem

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of advertising campaigns.

  • Leverage Footballco’s unique audience insights, data and premium content offerings to drive revenue growth.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and identify opportunities for innovation.

  • Be constantly aware of industry challenges and seen as an evangelist within the digital space

  • Provide key inputs for product strategy to evolve and innovate upon what already exists

What you have?
  • At least 10 years of experience in digital advertising sales with a proven track record of delivering revenue growth.

  • Deep understanding of the Media Agencies/Holding Companies in the UK

  • Strong established network of industry contacts with the major media agencies, trading desks and direct advertisers.

  • Experience in programmatic and audience sales essential.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively cross‐functionally.
