MUNDIAL reminds you why you love football. A quarterly magazine, best in class social publisher, merchandise specialist and multi-award winning audio producer, MUNDIAL has recently launched CLUB MUNDIAL, a community based subscription plan that will feature all of the above and more.

What’s the role about?

Footballco is looking to hire a driven Marketing Executive to help take MUNDIAL to the next level in 2023 and beyond. The magazine has recently launched Club Mundial, a subscription service, and the goal is to drive awareness and conversion of our football lifestyle audience across all platforms and mediums.

To do that, we need you. You’ll take ownership of execution of key marketing initiatives, develop new acquisition channels and drive marketing blueprint development. You will report into the Head of Marketing and collaborate with the Mundial editorial, creative, design and social media teams, working hand in hand to optimise product and go-to-market strategies.

This position is based in our London offices. We offer competitive compensation and a bonus scheme. We have a hybrid working model enabling you to flexibly manage your time working from our offices or from home.

You Will 
  • Take ownership of execution of key marketing initiatives, including organic and/or paid campaign planning, managing workflows, and reporting to drive optimization

  • Undertake marketing and targeting experiments, optimising landing pages for new and returning customers to drive results such as conversion or newsletter sign ups

  • Leverage customer insights from surveys, focus groups and internal data to develop targeting tools such as segments and personas

  • Work with internal teams to experiment and iterate on approaches for driving customers from the Goal ecosystem into Club Mundial; hands on execution to formalise acquisition blueprint for this channel

  • Assist Head of Marketing in defining and operationalizing new marketing tools and methodologies across creative, targeting and analytics workstreams, taking ownership of projects as required

  • Work with broader Mundial / Footballco social, design, editorial and performance marketing teams to track performance, extract insights and takeaways, and ensure learnings are shared across relevant teams

  • Experiment with new marketing channels; ideate, drive buy in, own and deliver new organic marketing initiatives as required

  • Report on the effectiveness of activation campaigns using pre-determined KPIs

  • 3+ years of experience in delivering performance, paid or platform marketing initiatives; startup experience preferred

  • Direct to consumer content, consumer product or ecommerce experience preferred

  • BA in Marketing or related field

  • Proficiency in paid and organic social

  • Understanding of marketing planning, management, and measurement

  • Analytical mindset with ability to report on, manage and use digital KPIs

  • Ability to project manage in a fast paced environment

  • Demonstrable follow through and self starter mentality

  • Creative with a passion for optimisation
